That's where I gave up. MC raids turned into MC + whatever we can do in BWL(In one sitting). That's just *way* too much F-ing time, even on the weekend. Also since we were still doing MC and barely touching BWL, there was no chance as a priest to get shadow/magic damage gear. I had a bucket load of DKP but as the second "main" healer, it's hard to argue that I can melt faces and contribute more. I'm actually looking to find another guild that may be further along so I can get some of the non-class specific dps gear.

Well, my guild is sort of a mix of casual and hardcore players.
We have a ton of people, so we usually do 2 x 20 man raids at different hours a couple of weekdays per week. Then Friday we clear MC, then Saturday and/or sunday we attempt BWL. Also, we kill Ony whenever she's up. The "weekend raiders" will raid one or two days per week, I'll usually raid 3 or 4 days per week (usually < 4 hours per raid as well.)
I play a restoro Druid (though i have a 60 prot warrior as well) .... in my guild we usually bring with a full feral druid to all the 40 mans, we also take with a shadow priest to the 40mans. I've been quite surprised since in MC last friday, the shadow priest was #3 for total damage dealt and #9 for total healing (via Vampiric embrace none the less.)
I like playing my alts and leveling them up with IRL friends toons a lot, which is why I like a somewhat "relaxed" raiding schedulel. My Mage has hit 43, and my lock has hit 34. I've got a good friend from work who's got a 34 shadow priest.
PS ... every good guild should know to bring with at least 1 good shadow priest to the raids. It will make the locks very happy
If you play Alliance on Suramar I might know of a good guild for you...
