Here is the link to the site. This guy has claims that are hilarious, he has systems that get 17000+ on 3Dmark 03 and that have a boot times of 4-7 seconds. That isnt it though, he has all sorts of new technology such as Athlon FX 3400+ and 9800 HT 256MB. Check it out, This guy is either amazing at building
systems or lying out of his ass.

Edit: Check out the noise level on his tower, .11db.

You would think with all his "experience" he would know that the Athlon 64 doesn't have an FSB... He claims his runs at 800MHz, which I'm sure he's confusing with the HT bus.

Q: When a client says ?How can your systems be instant?"

A: Simply, because most operations that occur on other systems take time to load or render. We eliminated the so called "wait-time" a few years ago with inventing our TXK modeling for our Hard Drive systems. Where many systems today are built with just the "fastest" processor, we dive deeper into incorporating the true components that allow every application you run, to run at the fastest speed possible.

What a crock of horse pucky!

Cheers!

The most popular laptop sold over the last week is the MX517 17.1" Widescreen...Not is the MX517 the fastest Laptop with the most features built in, it now comes with TV USB 2.0 and a remote control! Imagine burning a DVD movie on it's built in DVD-Rewriteable system and capturing live images at the same time with its built in Camtel Digital Video Camera system. It's the most MULTIMEDIA rich widescreen laptop on the market and it's stable and reliable for many years down the road.

If only he could construct a sentance....

People who invest in a top of the line computer have figured out that it costs less in the long run and is much more fun, productive, and less frustrating than getting sucked into the constant upgrade and repair cycle of buying cheap ones. A PC from Michael's Computers will last you at least twice as long, so it's like buying your next TWO computers.

here's another humourous quote apparently the extra 50-60% cost for the extra ~200mhz at the top end is really the secret! (or 1-200% if you're talking about a p4ee kind of deal)

That site has to be a scam.

"Michael" claims to have a 15.4" widescreen notebook with Pentium 4 3.20 GHz processor in a 4.28 lbs package - bullsh!t.

There is no way such a machine could be built in such a small form factor - 4.28 lbs is on par with the Gateway 200X, which is already a fairly small Pentium M platform machine.

Edit: The more I look at this site, the more outrageous the claims are. "Michael" claims to have an Athlon FX51 with 15.1" LCD in a 4.75 pound package (The MX57 model). That's smaller than an IBM ThinkPad T40.

There's also the fact that "Michael" has a MaximumPC "Kick @ss" approval stamp on the product. A search on MaximumPC reveals no such approval - and not even a review of the machine in question.

This actually makes me mad... the specs are ridiculous, but I'm sure a few people will get taken for a ride.

The United States Navy couldn?t have said it better, ?Michael, I have associates who say they want Dell because of the support of when something goes wrong (laughing) and something will always go wrong with a Dell. And getting assistance was extremely troublesome. I went through the same thing with Gateway and Compaq. When you need the support, who are going to end up speaking with? The maker of the system or some hired phone support of Dell, who doesn?t even know the specifics of your system, but only by a textbook they have in front of them that may only solve half of the problem. I only choose Michael's Computers over any other company because it?s far better to know the maker and someone you can trust and is a Christian.?

(and is a Christian)

lol, and i almost bought from those satan worshipping nazis at dell.. thank you michael

haha...

On the same page as his overhyped stats....

"Stealth (Noise Level) - .11 dba (Absolutely Silent)"

Maybe he took the measurement from the next room... or across the street.

We have computers from every company & your MX System is by far the fastest. Our technicians have seen literally hundreds of cutting-edge computers from every manufacturer and they practically drooled over your MX Systems"
United States Navy California / Sidewinder Missile Development Team (02/15/2003)

I guess they are making a new missle called the Sidewinder, and it is being developed on one of these computers. Wild stuff.

This remind anyone of the Mach 3.8L?

BTW, wasn't aware AMD made a FX51 3400+....

He's in California. Maybe I should take a drive up there and see what's up (Marina Del Rey). That is, if it's a real address.
