Haier 46EP14S - 46" Plasma EDTV

Manufacturer Haier offered me 46" EDTV for $1895 direct from warehouse in Edison, NJ.
Their 42" is 2299 and 46" is 2999 online (via pricebot)

i thought the panny was a better deal too (aside from size) ..and almost bought the panny myself..until u factor in several things..

- no stand included (+$300)
- no built in tv tuner
- shipping (~+$200)
- backordered at that site

all of a sudden..it's not $1999 anymore
might as well get the one w/ everything (PD series aka consumer model)

Plasma TVs are meant to be disposable. You're supposed to use them for 1 year and toss them. Think of it more as a lease rather than a purchase.

Seems like a very good deal. 1 yr warranty is standard in big-screen TV.
