Yeah, Im sure Circuit City's Distribution Network is setup to deliver to every store....on Tuesdays. Sorry bud, I work in Logistics, it doesnt work like that. Your store may be on a Tuesday schedule....not all of them

Oh, alright then. Nevermind then folks. You know how the Circuit City commercials advertise DVDs and tell you that they come in on Tuesdays? Well, I thought it was like that for every CC.

Well, I called my local stores and the only people that do price matches are Gamestop, which require you to bring in the ad itself, it can't be printed off. As for Wal-Mart, a CC has to be within 30 miles. Damn.

I don't believe so. The warden is run with blizz's world of warcraft to catch intrusive botters. Maybe if you get on bnet something similiar might happen, but i dont remember hearing about warden for non-wow blizz games.

The RELEASE dates are always Tuesdays.

Oftentimes they have unreleased DVDs in the back for a couple days until the release day.

Total price about $34 inluded taxes.

Its ridiculous and should be violative of most consumer protection laws to advertise items to a wide audience (any major metropolitan area) and have only a few items in stock. :|

Well, if they do not have decent stock, then f#(k em.... take the ad to Best Buy and price match after the purchase for 110% refund of the difference.

Normally, Fry's has a sh!tload of items in stock. So if you know anyone that works for Circuit City, tell'em to "hold" one for you so you can price match at Fry's and help other people get a good deal!

CC was out of them of course, BestBuy had pulled them from the shelves but good ol' WalMart had them in stock (about 8 copies that I could see and I ddin't hunt for them) and they pricematched with a smile.

Played it for about 1 1/2 hours tonight, it's already worth the $8.

Bought it last week at Target for $14.99 but hadn't opened it by yesterday. Checked two CC's in my area and they didn't have any copies. No desire to keep wasting gas, waiting on a new shipment so I just kept the one from Target. I did attempt to see if Target would price match but no such luck. $14.99 is still good. I played for about 45 minutes last night. I like what I see so far. Such a short game so I'm forcing myself to take it slow to get the most out of my money.

It requires HL2... so yeah.

The verification thing isn't even a roadblock. Once you've installed and unlocked it, you don't even know about verification. The only reason you'd care is if you're pirating it.
