That idea is nothing new! Way back in grade school people used to complain about the same thing - one guy would spoil it for the rest of the class. Now old Osama Bin Laden went and "did it again" a few years ago - now train fans get hassled all the time for taking pictures of passing trains. Yeah, it sucks!
HL1 sold 8 million copies X 49.99 = 399.92 million !!
I'll be the actual gross profits were much lower since many of those copies sold for allot less than MSRP. I have bought most of my games at discount prices since I just can't see paying full MSRP. Sacred was one of those games that seemed to hardly ever go on sale for anything more than $5 off of the $39.95 price, so I went to Ebay for that one and won a copy for $21 plus shipping.
