Half-Life and Voodoo5

I just bought a Voodoo5 card, works great, but I'm wondering what video mode I should be running Half-Life (TFC mostly) in? And if I should be using any drivers other than default.
Currently running a 450pIII w/ 96mb ram.. yeah yeah, I know, it'll be 128 soon as I find someplace to buy ECC memory without breaking the bank.

for HL, TFC, and CS run it under OpenGL using the 3dfx minidrivers (its an option in the video modes section: i think thats what its called)
