Alright, I've decided I don't really like the game all that much. It's probably a long shot, but if anyone hasn't bought it yet and is thinking about it, let me know. I'd like to sell mine and get more than the 20-30 that gamestop would give me for it. For what its worth, I haven't used the pre-order code that came with the game, so you could have that too, obviously.
Doh i just bought it for 35 used local or i would have bought yours. Want to get rid of your preorder code by chance?
For anyone complaining about the AI, the AI has never been a strong point in the Halo games (can't speak for Reach, though). I've been TOLD it gets better on harder difficulties, but this was not the case when I play through Halo 3. It might be different on Halo 4, as I've only played through it on normal. Either way, the AI in Halo 4 seems on par with the previous games. Except, hmm...the AI for banshee flying is pretty awful in Halo 4. They usually end up stuck in a corner within 30 seconds. I can't remember if other Halos had that problem.
Wow i am terrible at this game, jumped right into some multiplayer last night and was just getting owned. I normally like assault rifles in shooter games, but ya after playing with mouse and keyboard for so long i am just terrible gah!

played another level in the campaign last night and just feel very "meh" about the game thus far after not playing it for a while. it may be that my interest in FPS in general simply isn't what it once was.
Well, yeah. They had to be head shots, just like the grunts. On Legendary if you don't get head shots pretty much everything takes an entire clip, if not more, to kill. Even grunts.
For what it's worth, I play these games entirely too much and always aim for the head so I'm pretty good at it. In multiplayer out of my total 697 kills, 420 of them were head shots. Breaking it down by weapon type of "kills/head shots" I'm 350/296 with DMR, and 119/103 with the battle rifle.
Moral of the story is that head shots are important, even in campaign. It will definitely make your life easier!
