Screw you, people are dying.

yes people are dying and that a cold hard fact.
But to respond in such a childish manner in reprehensible.

What would you suggest the Israeli`s do?
oh..let me guess....
Do nothing--fat chance!!
I served in the Israeli military, and I have no love for the Palestinians. I realize that civillian deaths are inevitable when fighting groups that hide among them. But I don't celebrate that fact. I fully support the Israeli actions. Please don't lecture me.

I must say, I am kind of disturbed by the level of love for the Palestinian terrorists in the Western World. They voted the known terrorist organization Hamas to be their rulers. This is the consequence of that vote.

What's next, Palestinians vote in an Al Qaeda government and get coddled by the "civilized world?"

We don't support the terrorists. But we also don't support killing civilians that had nothing to do with the attacks of senseless terror committed by an tiny faction of the population.

I agree...but you have to admit, he has a point; they DID elect these animals, which shows what many of them think of the "peace process".

That's as true as saying "we" elected Bush.

The kid wasnt killed by Hamas ... at least not ordered from the top officials.

Certain members who belong to Hamas carried out the attacks.

Same goes for Abbas's military wing.

The govt. really has no control over their people. They dont even have money to pay their people.

If you consider 49.4% of the people populating America to be the entire U.S., then yes, we did elect him.

So saying Hamas represents the entierty of Palistine is not unlike saying Bush represents the entire U.S.

Yes, we did, but many of us didn't vote for him.

Isreal needs think big now, no more pussyfooting

If thats true, then its definitely time to clean house. Down with Hamas. "You have sat too long for any good you have done. Depart, I say, and let us be done with you."

I only hope no Palestinian civilians are killed, but unfortunately, thats almost impossible. What a mess.

It's almost impossible not to kill "civilians" because after the terrorists commit thier acts they take shelter among hoards of women and children.

I know, thats exactly what I meant. Maybe Israel should just round up all the women and children, and any man not bearing arms, and detain them for their own safety. As for any man with a weapon, well...enough is enough.

Yeah and then put them in gas chambers...for their safety of course. Just like Hitler tried putting all the poor Jews out of harms way by securing them in camps and even offered them nice gas showers.

this whole situation is sick, we pull out of gaza, they thank us by launching kassam rockets (at civillian targets) daily, so we have targeted strikes to kill those who launch the rockets, then they say that they are gonna get revenge cause we killed the guys who launch rockets, but if after the pullout from gaza if they had just tried to settle down and become some sort of autonomy then this would not be happening.

They are bloodthirsty animals who just enjoy killing, what kind of person could shoot an 18 year old boy (who never did anything to him) in the back of the head at close range, execution style.

Same goes for the guys in Iraq who saw off peoples heads, these kinds of people don't deserve to live.

The problem is that we have morals and they don't, the guy who made the announcement about the 18 year old boy being kidnapped did so right outside of a hospital in gaza so that the israelis wouldn't risk hitting the hospital, they do this kind of thing all the time, hiding among women and children etc.. it's because these men are not wariors they're the biggest cowards and they should all be shot!

Israel wantonly kills Palestinian children and bulldozes Palestinian homes so the argument for "bloodthirsty animals" goes both ways. Maybe if you kept your settlers - who keep encroaching on Palestinian land- in check a lot of this bloodshed wouldn't happen.

Israel does not "wantonly kill Palestinian children" they die because of what I said in my post: "...hiding among women and children etc.. "

and they don't randomly bulldoze homes, they bulldoze the homes of suicide bombers, it's called deterrence. and with israeli civillians being killed left and right we have a right to deter suicide bombers.

and what settlers encroach on palestinian land? the land was captured in a war which israel didn't even start, and the countries whom the the land belonged to (jordan and egypt) have long ago said that it has no interest in getting the land back

actaully, to the OP, it's more like 64 hamas political members thus far. i wonder how the world will react to this. the Hamas is a known terror group and thus there's not bad thing about it, but they are the government of the gaza strip. if you can call them that. they masterminded this attack and they will not get away with it. the reason for israel's entrance is not to rescue the missing solder as that is almost impossible. it's to make the palestinians misrable. that will hopefully make them pressure the hamas to stop this, or make them elect a different government next time. if there will be a next time.

Hm, I was listening to something interesting on NPR the other day. A man was explaining that apparently Fatah got more total votes for their candidates, but while Hamas ran one candidate per seat, Fatah ran multiple. If Fatah had focused on running one qualified candidate per seat they'd still be in majority control.
