Hankook DynaPro tires - crap?

My truck came with 3 Hankook DynaPro AS tires. I don't know how many miles were on them when I bought it, but the tread looked really good on them, and I've put about 7500-ish miles on them since I bought it. I've had to replace all 3 of them, and they all still had good-enough-to-pass-inspection tread on them. All 3 tires had bubbles and were starting to separate, and one of them actually blew out on the highway.

Is this typical of Hankook DynaPros, or did I just drive them too much? I do about 60-70 miles of driving a day, 50ish of that is highway miles.

I've been replacing them piece-meal with Falken Rocky Mountain and I really like these tires.

I have no experience with Hankook DynaPros, but that's certainly not typical...you should be able to drive a tire until the tread wears out without it bubbling/separating (assuming it doesn't sustain any damage of some sort).

I don't think I've abused the tires, either. Driven on them at highway speeds, towed a very light load (about 700lb, combined trailer and cargo weight) around 400mi. I don't do burnouts, racing around, or high-speed cornering, anything of that nature.

Even that shouldn't cause separation or bubbling - tracked tires get extreme abuse but still shouldn't fall apart or bubble.

Whats the mfg date on them? Should be somewhere on there.

I put a set of of DynaPro ATMs on my F150 last fall, after 10,000 miles they are still in great shape. No bubbles or separation.

Im running dynapro mud terrains on my truck and after 18 months they are still in great shape. And i beat the hell out of them offroading and often air them down below 10PSI.

Perhaps you got knock off's? or a bad batch?

Coulda been a bad batch. The truck came with ~75% tread on 3 DynaPro AS (Front Left, Front Right and Rear Right) and the spare was on the rear, (100%-ish tread Continental Contitrac).
Front Left went first with a bubble and separation on the outside edge, replaced before it failed.
Front right blew out with no warning @ 75mph 35 miles outside San Antonio. Inner sidewall area was shredded, about a 3"x3" area was affected.
Replaced Right Rear this morning before it failed, it was bubbled all the way around the outside edge, maybe slightly less than 1/4 of the tire was bulged.

Nice find, but they only list a different tire size (mine are 255/65R17), and I don't have any of the 3 tires anymore to check the numbers anyway.

Might be good to report it, though. Perhaps there are other bad batches out there?

I had stock Hankook LRRs on my Focus when new, and my GOD were they terrible. Killed them in about 2500 miles or so, and they were death hazards in even light drizzle.
