I was being really wishful when I ordered it last nite hoping to see it before I go back to school... Looks like they really came through, the DHL delivery guy must have visited my place while I was taking a shower. Now I just need to wait till tomorrow when the housing office opens up...

I'm seriously considering getting one of these. For the price, (assuming the rebates all come through) it's a good deal even if it's just a semi-decent display. Has anybody that got one used it for gaming or watching movies?

havnt tried gaming, not really FPS gamer. not a movie person either, but Haruhi looked good on it so I can vouch for anime viewing. Still cant touch the 22'' diamondtron, it was never meant to anyway. I must say I am quite pleased with what I got and their superfast delivery.

Well, got mine set up last night (one stuck pixel, damn), and it looks great in GTA San Andreas. No ghosting at all.

I tried some MBR and Touhou Suimusou last nite. Not exactly FPS, but both are equally as fast paced if not more; no ghosting at all in either game, which must be a good sign.

Now, does anyone have recommended color / brightness setting for this LCD? I have mine at 35% brightness and factory default colors.

It took me 3 days to aim, but I finally pulled the trigger! I got two Antec 80mm Tri-Cool Blue LED fans as filler. I hope I'm as pleased with it as you guys seem to be!

Oh man, this is tempting. My brother sent me a link to the TigerDirect deal (HN199D) since he knew I was looking for something to replace my Dell 17" CRT. Right now, I'm torn between that one and the Dell 1907FP. I'm not usually a fan of mail-in rebates, but if people's experiences with them are mainly good, then I'll bite.

Wierd got 2 emails from onrebate today the first timed at 10:24 am said my rebate was denied, cuase the item in question wasn't on my reciept BS, The Second timed sent 10:25am said it was approved and would be in my paypal with in 2 business days..

I called the 866 # in the emails and the system says it is indeed approved and being processed..

I got my monitor and everything looks great on it! It's nice and crisp and there are no dead/stuck pixels that I can see. I played a lot of FarCry on it yesterday and noticed no ghosting or anything. Now I just have to send the rebates out.

I believe it is free to receive paypal (as far as I can remember...), but to get it faster than the 8-10 weeks they charge you $5.50 whether you paypal or get a mailed check..

BTW, I just filled out my forms and am sending them out today. Godspeed rebate forms, Godspeed...

I tuned my buddy on to this deal three weeks ago, he is thrilled with the Monitor, and has the $90 rebate already in hand (less the $5.50 expedite fee). He also got confirmation on the additonal $20 rebate.
