Hanns.G Hi-221DPB good for gaming?

Didn't see it in the LCD sticky thread.

Where would it fall on the list of hardcore gaming lcds in there? I like the Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ at number 1, but I dunno if it's worth paying twice the amount of money.

The LG Flatron L227WTG-PF at number 2 looks nice as well, but it is discontinued.

I have a DoubleSight DS-263N right now. It's alright but the higher native res isn't framerate friendly. And during lots of action and looking around in shooter games, things get blurry. I'm ready to swallow my pride and get a faster TN just for the sake of smoother gaming.

hanns uses mostly TN panels in their displays. i have one of their 28" panels and its a wonderful gaming monitor, i would definitely get it. the 227 is awesome as well, i have the 225 which uses the same panel but is non glossy, im not sure if you can get any of them anywhere now though. you should be happy with most hanns brand stuff for gaming though (hannspree or hanns-g)

Hanns products have a tendency to break down. Out of the 4 Hanns displays i've purchased either for myself or family, 2 have only survived longer than a year. So I'm at a 50% failure rate within a year with thier brand.

Just be warned you may have to RMA it if you do buy it, save the box!!!!

I'm looking at it this way. The motion blur on my H-IPS panel is driving me nuts. Would the Hanns.G TN panel have any less motion blur, or should I go for the 120hz samsung 2233rz?
