Mubarak(मुबार&#2325 is actually an Arabic/Urdu word.. does not go well with a few people unless you are a Muslim. It is also not coherent as they are two different languages(but the script is same).

दिवाली की शुभकामनाएं (Diwali ki shubkamnaye) would be the right way to say it.
