it always seemed weird to me to wish anyone a happy mother's day but your own mom (and your wife if you've got kids)

because sending a mother's day card to your sister is something that only a mother or female friend/family member would do :hmm:I just wished my sister a Happy Mother's Day.
That's because she's a new mother of 6 weeks.
Tried to find a card for a New Mother, but they all were rather meh. Couldn't find a humorous one or one that really fit the relationship between my sister and I. They all seemed to almost be worded as if from a mother or a female friend/family member.
Tell your mom I said whats up.
If your mom looks anything like Susan Sarandon I will be more than happy to oblige.
my mom can't even turn on her vcrI got my mom a portable blu-ray player.
I am better than you all.

We were at my mom's house for Mother's Day as she was having a family get-together. I had my 4YO go in and yell "Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in da house". Nobody else found it as humorous as me and my wife.
I got my mom a portable blu-ray player.
I am better than you all.
I opened the closet door, patted my mom on her box and wished her Happy Mother's Day..then closed the door and left her in the dark.
