Happy Pumpkin Beer Season!

Just wanted to pass along this link. What's your favorite Pumpkin beer? Mine's southern tier Pumking.

Yep, Southern Tier Pumpking. I've had a few different pumpkin ales and that one is the best IMO. Brooklyn makes one that's decent, but Southern Tier still wins. Most pumpkin beers taste way too chemically and unnatural to me.

Colder weather also means it's time for some nice stouts (unless you drink stouts all year, like me )

Not that I would call myself a Pumpkin Beer Connoisseur by any means...but Elysian's Night Owl Pumpkin Ale is pretty damned good.

It's too damn early for pumpkin beer, but maybe that's just because its still summer here.

I tried New Belgiums Pumpkick over lunch. Was pretty tasty. First pumpkin beer ive ever tried.

They're already coming out. Their popularity has skyrocketed the last few years, they used to come out in mid october and be gone by the start of November. Now they get their whole season, rightfully so

I'd also like to make mention that the Pumpkin Spice Latte has made its return at Starbucks. :')

I'm not a huge fan of Pumpkinator, I aged a DR9 for two years and I still didn't enjoy it. Haven't tried Krunkin Pumpkin yet - most of Karbach's beer is good, though.

The only Pumpinkator I tried was on cask over at The Hay Merchant, which was probably why I enjoyed it so much.

In my opinion, Karbach can't put out a bad beer.

I still haven't made it to the Hay Merchant. We rarely come into town anymore unless we're meeting friends for dinner. I mostly go to World of Beers, Public House, or Whole Foods out in Katy or to the Saucer in Sugarland.
