Today sucked.

Couldnt get seated at two restaurants. Couldnt get served at another 2.
The wings at Hooters were even drier than normal, and thats bad.
Chipotle sold me a giant chunk of fat. Which doesnt matter because my food somehow managed to be ice cold by the time I got home.


Its turned into just another day off for people. Everyone driving around like idiots in the middle of the week, clogging up restaurants and stores.
Utterly meaningless.

Thanks to all of you that made sacrifices to serve our nation. And thanks to my father, now deceased, who relived his war experiences every single night in his dreams. Who woke up most nights screaming and drenched in sweat. Not every scar our vets carry is a visible scar.

My husband and I went to Tijuana Flats - which served vets free dinner - and had a nice meal for 2 which included draft Dos Equis and came to a grand total of $10.xx. And we thanked them for their generosity.
