Oh perfect. Thanks for sharing. The moron lamp and the guy's face as he assembles the green house are the best.

Was going to make a snarky comment about bringing up an ancient joke. But I the manual chainsaw was new for me, so thanks.
Bono Safety Glasses, seen it a million times, still chuckle.

Gotta get me a pair of the Bono safety glasses! Also wouldn't mind a noise and fume generator.

Awesome LOL OP, 9/10. HF really isn't that bad for some stuff but if your going to tackling jobs that require say removing the head (s) you will want a better quality socket set, ask me how I know! :awe:

OK, that was better than I expected

16 ton hydraulic nail unbender had me grinning a bit.

That and the useless toolbox set.

More than that, I won't elaborate.

The key to shopping at Harbor Freight is knowing what items are good and what items to avoid like the plague

IMO most of Harbor Freight's "Pittsburgh Pro" line of ratchet wrenches and sockets are made in Taiwan and are comparable in quality to Kobalt and Husky. I'd say they're better than the low-end Craftsman tools. But on the other hand there's also some serious junk at HF that you have to watch out for.

There is a harbor freight near me... I kinda want to go just to see what kind of two-wheel cart only costs $30. I mean, it's just tube steel, how bad could it be? OTOH, there must be some reason most of them are around $100.

True, I bought a bottle-jack there 7 years ago for cheap and it still works like new, also got a torque-wrench for $25 that still works fine.

LOL, OP. Thanks for the laugh.

And speaking of cheap tools, I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality of cheap tools they're selling at Home Depot. I needed a new pair of needle-nosed pliers, and thought, "aww, what the heck" and picked up a set of 10 or so pliers for $8. They've worked great so far. I got a set of pneumatic nailers - finish, brad, crown stapler, and pin nailer; $70 for all four. I figured they'd break, I got the extended warranty, and would upgrade to a good brand. But, they're all working great so far (though, they need "90 to 110 psi" - every one of them works well at 110psi. At 90, nothing is even flush in pine.

HF has its place, My tool selection has some of their items. Remember their hand tools have lifetime warranty.

With a reciept; or you need to make them put your info into their computer when you buy.

I do agree, some stuff there is better than craftsman and on par with kobalt or even the cheaper tool truck brands like Cornwell, Matco and Mac. I've found the more you get away from basic hand tools, the more it becomes crap.

Work on stuff almost every day (cars, etc) and use many HF tools. Have only had a ratchet wrench fail (gas tank strap bolts, should not have been using a ratchet wrench, my fault). and a Few actual Ratchets, they get gummed up and have issues, normally some cleaner (carb works great) then re lub um and they work again. Of course as so many say, a $5 air tool is probably not going to last very long (and the 3/8th air ratchets are weak as heck). Its as most things are.. you can buy a $80,000 car or a $30,000 both will most likely (with care) go 200,000.. but the guy who buys the $80,000 car will turn his nose up at that $30,000 car.. You got the money to spend, spend it. I love the aluminum jacks they sell for $60 on sale.. awesome.
