Its much more time over here. I do like Anandtechs tech forums better than but the hard forums have some good ranting and raving. quite amussing.

Looks like the just took GenMay (their OT) down, no biggie, it was 13 year-old spam central there. I have a couple of thousand posts over at the H (clean record too), but very few of them were in GenMay. I liked the H, but I left it voluntarily a few months ago when I realized that the only solution Kyle had figured out for his bandwidth problem was just to ban indiscriminately and (usually) without cause.

Yeah, I'm glad I finally got permbanned after 6 times at that shithole.
How to not get banned at Hardforums:
Don't cuss in subject lines (sort of understandable, but you can't even say hell!)
Don't USE CAPS LOCK in subject lines (Oh darn, your little buddy steve did that, he should be banned!)
Don't flame anyone! (I saw people getting banned for telling someone to shut up. Nazi HQ.)
Most of all, if you don't kiss kyle's ass in 24 hours you're BANNED!
If you say something that made me cry, you're BANNED!
If you disagree with me, you're BANNED!
If you make everyone realize how crappy your ratpadz are, you're BANNED!

Dammit, I get back from vacation and Gen May's gone.

It seemed like more of a community than a lot of other boards, including this one. The Soapbox's ravings can go, that was just a flame fest, ATOT has too many whiners and SA is well......SA.

I want my PS threads back.

Yeah they just added a ton of new forums. Put back soapbox (which I don't care about, but will replace genmay for the most part), added a photoshop forum, tv forum, book, skating, aviation (rock!), animae, and several others. Just hope they get a lot of traffic. I only visit a couple of those hobby ones and would be nice to have questions answered quick like happens here.
