Hi all,

Since I missed out on the Dell deal at $119 shipped. Here is something I saw surfing at Amazon.

Amazon currently has the Harmony 880 for $129.99 shipped and usually tax free here

Played the "Logitech Bundle me" online game here
and they will email you a 10% rebate form for any Harmony remote purchase.

This lowers the price to $117.00

Warm at least?

I think people that got on the dell deal can still use the 10% but it doesn't specify which retailers it can be redeemed with.

I wish they would use the keys from the 6x lines, I tried this out in the store and it feels like a cell phone keypad. If you do not look, you can easily hit several keys at once (when using the num pad) when using your thumb.

Nice deal OP ty
I think I will go with the 670 with the 10% rebate myself. Anyone have anything negative on the 670, or why the 880 is worth the extra $20.00?

The 880 looks much nicer and also has a color display. I have an 890 myself and love it. I dont use the rf function so i may as well bought the 880. If you are only talking $20 there is no way i could bypass the 880.

In my opinion there is no way I would consider the 670 over the 880 to save $20 (I have an 880 and bought it originally intending to buy the 670).

The main differences for me were:
#1. The docking bay - it looks cool and is easy to use. I LOVE it compared to fumbling around with a cord or replacing batteries (and even so, the batteries last quite a long time until I have to recharge, at least a week, not seen it go under 2/3 yet).
#2. The 670 looks pretty crappy compared to the 880. If I'm paying $100 for a remote, I want it to look badass and the 880 does but the 670 doesn't really.
#3. The 670's display is crappy and the 880's is awesome. Now this isn't just about "prettiness" but is also about usability. The 880 is easier to read (imho) in the dark and I believe it is much more customizable as for what each activity does and how it is displayed on the screen.

Again, these aren't worth paying double for the remote but is without a doubt worth an extra $20. I think when I bought mine I paid an extra $40 for these features and I was happy to do so!

I have the 670 (bedroom) and 880 (living room). I like the 880 better in almost every way for the reasons stated above. The great thing about the 670 is that its button layout is very close to the tivo remote so it's a perfect replacement.

So, unless you have a tivo and want to keep the same basic button configuration then I would say go with the 880.
