Now that I have watched this weekends episode I am pretty confused. Most recently I thought the killer was Henry.. but now I am not so sure. Maybe it is Henry working with the sheriff..its so hard to tell. Anybody have any thoughts or reasons behind their guesses?

I think it has to be somebody close to abby..why would people keep saying it lways had to do with her. Plus now we know shes omst likely wakefield's daughter...

I was thinking Abby's dad but that is too obvious now. It has to be someone who could be in the house and not draw attention though due to the most recent death. I don't see how anyone could have just snuck in and managed to get behind that couch without her noticing.

Yeah good point. I still feel like it is 2 people working together...the whole thing seems too hard to pull off by one person.

Or maybe its two people working together...or against eachother...

Its hard to point the finger at just one person;

The sheriff looks good, but than in episode 8, who was it shooting the arrows at Cole Harkin while the sheriff was laying in the bed? And when Kelly was killed in one of the first episodes, who left the gold bear with the red eyes and the newspaper clipping with the sheriffs face on it?

Henry was also one of my guesses. Im still wondering how he got all bloody in the end of the 8th episode when he comes walking over to find JD on the ground with Abbey.

Im guessing either Jimmey, Henry or the sheriff, or someone we havent met yet.

Yeah it still bothers me that henry had blood and like 4-5 cuts on his arms when he was being treated...looked an awful lot like knife wounds. Wonder how those got there with out him remembering...

How about the gardener that you see from time to time. The last death was done with the shears you saw him using in episode 7 or 8. I know it isn't a main character but maybe they are just trying to trick everyone into thinking it's a main character. My second guess is similar to the post above that its Jimmy and he is the son of Wakefield.

What motive does jimym have though? I agree it maybe could be him.. liek they all keep saying..its all about Abby.

Maybe Jimmy is Wakefields son, and hes mad that the sheriff sent him away.

My gf thinks it's Henry....but then they showed him covered in blood at the end of the last episode and that just seems too obvious now.

Only one that doesn't have an alibi for most of the killings is Maggie, the hotel manager.

I don't doubt that Jimmy is Wakefield's son, but I'm not fully convinced he's the killer.

Maybe the Sheriff, by tracking Wakefield for so long, has become something of a schizophrenic and the killings were triggered by Abby coming back to the island.

If it is the sheriff then there has to be another killer because remember Cole Harkin was shot up with arrows while the sheriff was laying in his cabin.

Could be Henry has liek a split personality....kinda like in the "bloody valentine" movie. Maybe he actually wants to kill abby and the sheriff..b/c remember his parents were murdered by Wakefield too. Maybe the time Cole got shot with the arrows was really an attempt to kill the sheriff?

Last nights episode was an EPIC FAILURE! There were so many points in the story that just made me angry.

SPOILERS BELOW!!!










































Ok, so John Wakefield makes his way down to the cannery where everyone else is hiding and breaks breaks down the door;

-Bar tender grabs shotgun
-He kills her
-Gun is dropped
-Wakefield gets into a knife fight with Shane
-Trish, who is standing behind Wakefield, picks up shot gun and instead of just SHOOTING Wakefield...she runs away, WTF?!
-Ok, so now Trish is in the bathroom and Wakefield is at the door. Instead of waiting for a clear shot, she uses her only two rounds on the door and misses of course because she couldnt see anything.

Later on the white dude and the black guy (dont remember their names) are nailing shut the door int eh kitchen of the hotel that leads to a tunnel. When they are done, someone is beating on the door from the other side trying to open it. Again, they shoot at a door without knowing who is there. Why not just wait for him to bust through and then mow him down?

And finally and the end of the show when the British guy and the blond chick are at that bridge with the dead end, they see Wakefield at the top of the hill and he is coming down to them. British dude has a shotgun, Wakefield has a knife. He could have just waited for Wakefield to come to him and blow him away, but no, he has to use his only shot to try and shoot him from far away and of course he misses.

I dont know what the fucked happened to the writers, but last nights episode was written horribly.

Ok, show's over. Spoilers may be discussed freely, so don't read the thread if you don't want to know anything.

Decent if ultimately unfufilling series.

That had me yelling at the screen.

In addition to plot holes mentioned above, how about:

- As JD lay dying at the docks, he said to Abby, "It's about you Abby, it's all about you." I know JD was a dick and so maybe having realized he was about to die decided to make a a cryptic deathbed utterance, but undoubtedly it would have been more helpful to the remaining survivors had he instead said, "It was Henry. Henry did this to me."

There were plenty of others but this was the one that sprung to the top of my head when the last episode aired.

The main failing of the show? Lack of motive for the murders. Why graphically and creatively wipe out an entire wedding party one by one comprised of people who did nothing to you and who essentially have no connection to you? No reason, the killers were just psychos. This does not lead to a feeling of satisfaction upon completion of watching 13 episodes. It was less deduceable murder-mystery than it was Friday the 13th: The Series.
