My Dad learned to fly in the Army AIr Corps. He was always believed that any landing that you could walk away from was a good one...The Ryan PT-22 Recruit, the main military version of the Ryan ST, is a military trainer aircraft used by the United States Army Air Corps...
On March 5th, 2015, actor Harrison Ford was injured when his PT-22 was forced to make an emergency landing on the Penmar Golf Course in Venice, California. Ford was attempting to return to Santa Monica Airport after engine trouble.
This is why he is always a terrible guest on talk shows. AFAIK, he's only in Hollywood if he happens to be working there on that specific day. Otherwise, he hangs out in his Wyoming mountain home and builds things.
I hope not... :\I wonder if EPVII filming schedule will suffer?
Principal photography ended on November 3, 2014.[86]
He seemed barely coherent in 21 and some interviews I've seen. I'm surprised he flies. I wouldn't expect him to drive a car.
Have you seen his interviews when he was younger? He has always been a bit... different, just seems to be his personality. He seemed barely coherent in 21 and some interviews I've seen. I'm surprised he flies. I wouldn't expect him to drive a car.
It just occurred to me that that's why I always thought he was probably a pretty down to earth guy. I saw him on the Tonight Show (this is probably 10 to 15 years ago) and he was just uncomfortable as hell, not in a snobby, dismissive kind of way, just kind of shy and awkward.
"Fly yes, land no"
lol at these peeps who get in these old planes without parachutes. u'd think they know there is a very high chance of something like this happening.
He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery,
lol
Lets give a real update because this guy is one of my heroes:
