Most Germans and even most eurpoeans don't drink water from the tap. Even with super high standars there is a large amount of reluctence to drink from the tap there. If they drink water they mostly drink Sparkling/Carbonated bottled water.

How very eco-conscience of them.

Of course, I also prefer filtered or processed water, preferably after it's been sent through a cow, or through an orange tree, or through a Pepsi/Coca-cola bottling plant where various tasty ingredients added.

So my own "reluctance" to drink directly out of the tap is just because it's kind of bland.

Now, if I could purchase the dry flavorings separately, and then take advantage of the immense cost savings of using the water that's piped right to my house very cheaply, and still get an identical finished product, I'd love that. Shipping water around by truck isn't cheap.

You're such a selfish prick. Why don't you think of mother-Gaia and all the damage you're doing to her!?

germans go apeshit for carbonated water, I've never been able to figure out why.
they have weird drinking habits, they like to mix shit like beer and cola, beer and lemonade and coke and fanta (you can even buy it in stores already mixed).

*sigh*

I love that reasoning for using bottled water, which is likely just repackaged municipal water anyway, at an utterly immense markup.

"I don't want tap water. I'd rather have water that is subject to far fewer regulations in its handling and processing."

tap water has chemicals added to it, and comes to you in very rusty and limed up pipes. it is usually 300ppm or dirtier. spring water is like 50ppm and bottled tap water is 1ppm.

tap water here just smells like a pool and you can see cloudiness in it. nobody can tell me its as good as bottled spring water. its not even close.

So the Roman Empire fell because of lead poisoning and the American Empire is set to fall because of flouridation?

In my experience, every single person that makes a "Roman Empire fell" parallel in his/her argument is completely full of shit.
