Yeah, I'll admit it, I choked an ex before.
Long-time ago. I was young, she was frustrating the hell out of me and doing it on purpose. She knew I had a violent temper but continued to push me...and push me...so I slammed her against the wall, picked her up by her neck and told her to stop (in more or less words).
She realized that she went way too far and we made up. I didn't do it to hurt her but, at the time, I felt she needed to know I wasn't ****** around.
As far as HITTING a woman? Hell no...but the choking is pretty much the same.

Anyway, men generally are stronger than women in a physical sense.

It's a double standard though. women want to be able to do all the things men can do, they aren't weaker then. but when it comes to violence suddenly they are weaker?

A year out of high school I was still dating a senior. (We had dated 2 years prior)
One weekend she decided to have a "girls night" So I hung out with some friends and crashed at a friends house.. the next day shes calling my friends house looking for me acting all crazy..
I left my friends place and picked her up she flipped out on me for not calling her. Driving her home she is screaming at me.. i start yelling back.. she throws my car in park as im going 30 and punches me in the face, Hard.
I got out of the car and grabbed her by her neck and arm and threw her on the sidewalk, threw all her stuff out of my car and drove away forever.

This is basically a question for men, but ladies can answer too.
I have noticed that in male/female relationships, women seem have the priviledge to slap, hit, and throw things at the man with almost non-existent consequences.
But most men I know will not fight back or hit a woman, and if they do they go to jail or it's a huge deal.
Is this something agreed on before the relationship?
