DirecTivo hahaha. We won't be getting it until hell freezes over. We are still waiting for 4.0 features like USB support, home media, etc. Most likely we will never see Tivo2go. Unless we upgrade to new units.

well the r10's are out. and series 2 rcvrs are getting an update soon. but its for folders and what not.

well the r10's are out. and series 2 rcvrs are getting an update soon. but its for folders and what not.

It's been "soon" for at least 6 months. I don't think the r10's support tivo 2 go anyway...

I got the update. My select-play-select codes don't work anymore. Also, it doesn't look like I can use Tivo-to-go because I'm a Tivo Basic customer. But it just happened last night, so I haven't really tried yet.

i just got the update myself. and now it looks like myDVD finally released the authoring software to burn the .tivo files.

TiVo Pros:

Interface is light years ahead.
More features.
More powerful scheduling functionality.

Comcast DVR Pros:

Dual Tuners.
No need for an awkward setup with IR blasters to record from cable-box.
Seems to have slightly higher quality when recording digital channels.

I got it, but can't use it. I'm using TiVO basic on my combo TiVO/DVD from Toshiba. I can't use TiVOTOGO because I don't pay for my TiVO service.

Also, with the Comcast box you get High-Definition without having to pay $1k upfront.
