Has anyone else encountered a forced password change on Paypal?

I logged in to Paypal today because I wanted to switch e-mail addresses, and straight after I logged in, it insisted that I change my password. Has anyone else seen the same thing, or has anyone heard of Paypal getting compromised so it has enforced a password change, maybe, or something similar?

Not in a few years, last time was when they decided my password was not strong enough(was all lower case letters, was that way for 10+ years and it was fine then.....) and they made me make a new one with lower/upper case and numbers.

I've had the same password for years as well, possibly as long as I've had a paypal account (going on at least ten)?

For me I've had them want me to change my password three times. And it's well over ten characters and uses upper, lower case letters numbers and symbols.

Had the same thing happen recently (I think around the same time as OP), and for the first time in many, many years. All my passwords are randomly generated, 20 char+ in length, and include numbers, upper and lower case, and symbols. Not sure why they made me do it either, but I guess ultimately, it's no big deal. Definitely haven't heard of PayPal being compomised or anything of that sort.
