Has anyone else watch almost none of the Olympics at all??

I've been watching, but not too much. I usually enjoy watching the Winter Olympics, but these ones have been extraordinarily bad. The atmosphere is just not there - seeing people skiing around with no snow in the trees or background, incompetent officials running events, extreme jingoism from the home crowd, etc. It's just not what the Winter Olympics is supposed to be.

I don't have a TV, so I only got to watch a little the other day while I was at my sister's place. I watched the semi-finals in curling, it was actually pretty fun to watch.

ive watched as much as I can, been working nights for the past 2 weeks so missed the good stuff. The olympics only happen ever 8 years so I try to watch as much as possible. Well the winter games are every 8 years, no one gives a shit about the summer olympics.

I watched a little but I think I would be more interested if there weren't so many events that are similar. Speed skating, for example: 500m, 1000m, 1500m, 5000m, 10000m, team pursuit... Have a short race and a long race, and call it a day.

watched some... short track, speed skating, bobsled, snowboard cross, halfpipe, some alpine skiing, and slalom.

Not as much as the summer olympics though because it's not too hard to switch off baseball. Basketball is on (NBA and NCAA Mens), so there's plenty to pay attention to already.

It's just a sporting event for white people so that they feel important at sports. I wonder how well some of our pro athletes would be if they went into sport like speed skating.

I might have caught about 15 to 20 minutes of it. While I greatly respect these athletes, my time is much better spent than watching a rather pointless competition. Same goes for any spectator sport IMHO. The one I don't get the most...NASCAR...let's watch some traffic???

I like hockey and watch the Canucks on a semi-regular basis, but I'm not a big Olympics guy, particularly when it is completely enveloping my city.
