This forum had nothing to do with my change of heart on Bush. Iraq did. He had my 100% support when he stood on the rubble of the world trade center and gave one of the best speeches that he has given. He pissed it all away with Iraq, and the sad part is that I saw it coming within days after 9/11 (talked about it with plant manager).
I admit that I didn't vote for him the first time and didn't care much for him then. 9/11 changed it all...but Iraq entered and the rest is history.

Like I said, I don't really know why exactly I decided I didn't like Bush any more. But I will say this, I still get angry just thinking about how united we were in this country, and with countries around the world, after 9/11, and how Bush managed to piss that away more than I ever would have thought possible. I still get chocked up remembering all the flowers outside our embassies around the world, and those hand-made signs saying "Today we are all Americans". See if you can find a picture of the outside of our embassy in France after 9/11, how we went from that to "Freedom Fries" is a mystery I doubt I'll ever figure out.
I don't know, maybe this IS the reason. Just thinking about what a fvcking waste it was makes me want to cry. It was a golden, once in a lifetime opportunity to make the US stronger than it has ever been. And somehow we went from that to being more divided at home and hated around the world than we have been in years.
