Has anyone ever price matched camera's to the back of a magazine?

was wondering since AMEX doesn't do online price matching anymore. There are probably lot's of opportunities for deals if it'll work.

Yeah, I've done it. The publisher was pretty po'd though since he had to recall all those copies and put in the new price.

I am all for handing those back of magazine advertizers their rearends.

You call and are ready to get the deal and get the 'Oh that sold out' or something equally honest.

Not the back of a magazine but somewhere in the middle. I think Amex needed a copy of the cover as well as the ad page. If you found a good ad to PM, add it to your title and this thread m i g h t stay open.
