Has anyone ever tried Prime Pantry?

Normally, I don't even bother looking at it, but Amazon is basically doing free shipping for it when you choose No-rush shipping, so now I'm a bit curious about it. Are they good about the 2-4 day delivery time? Do you have to be home for them to deliver or will they just leave it? I've noticed some deals are decent enough when the shipping is free, which would be easy enough with the no-rush option.

They work great for me. You dont have to be home. Its just doorstep delivery. Of course, you can't get cold stuff delivered.

I ordered another tiny USB thumb drive after I gave the initial one to my mom, but this time shipping was delayed by 2 weeks. So, I chose the "$5 Amazon Pantry credit" instead of free 2-day shipping (duh)...and a day later I get an email saying shipping was updated to within the week. Score!

my sis keeps trying to talk me into it, but i dont see the point for me.

sis likes pantry because she has 3 kids, and a 4th on the way [yipes] and lives 20 minutes or so from a grocery store/wal mart. i guess it makes sense for her to get some things delivered so she has less to bother with when she goes to the store. taking that brood in and out and fitting it all in the suv is a giant headache.

i live in a small town, 5 minutes from a grocery store. my gf and i live together. for me the pantry prices are, at best, as good as the local store prices. doesnt make sense for me to spend more on shipping to get something. i use subscribe and save a lot for coffee, a snack, maybe some other things--always enough to get the 15% off. subscribe and save i really like for the most part, pantry? meh.
