Doesn't your colon get a decent brushing from your head being so deep in your ass? Colon cleansing is ridiculous.
don't be an asshole, man.

So LA area? Check here every now and then to see what drug therapy trials are recruiting in your area. Looks like a phase III trial on female pattern baldness by Johnson and Johnson is about to wrap up. So keep an eye out for news related to that.
Also expand the search for other/past trials, and see if you can google the results.
where are you experiencing the alopecia? you might need some cortisone injections. contact a dermatologist.
honestly, colonics are pretty pointless.
how long have you been eating healthy? the reason i ask is because, sometimes, if your intestines are used to digesting an unhealthy diet, fecal mater can get kinda pasted between your microvili and decrease your nutritional absorption. that doesn't really happen in the large intestines, though... it's mainly in the small intestines. a good week long detox program should clear it out... and by detox, i mean like a nutritious, home-made vegetable soup-based detox you can do at home for cheap.
i always recommend a superfood/whole food nutritional supplement. google some research on the powder. if it's good, give it a shot. if not, do juice plus. i agree that one-a-day vitamins are crap.
also, i fail to draw any connection between a colon cleanse and alopecia...
mrsbugi, don't do the phase 3 trial... wait until it's in phase 4 just to be safe.

The good thing is that (assuming efficacy and safety are favorable) they'll likely recruit again in her area for the phase 4.
You know you would have NO issues with (crysis-2) at ALL with oc'ing your GPU if you stop using piece of shit software and just flash the BIOS to those clocks instead. Make sure it can run furmark, etc. and if that's good, flash those number with ibitor and call it the day. Don't blame the publisher even though they are typically scummy cockersuckers for this! I see this all the time...
The ladies at the store I went to told me that I should poop at least 3 times a day to be healthy. Their "cleanse" consists of 50 PILLS A DAY... Which are supposedly healthy and good for you. (50 pills a day!!!!) Their premise was that it was all-natural and that your body can really benefit from it, "flush out the toxins," etc.
I'm skeptical. Still researching, thanks for the constructive links so far.
Thanks for the well thought-out reply, eits.
I'm experiencing the alopecia all over, diffuse alopecia areata (hair lost diffusely across the whole scalp instead of in just one area). I saw a dermotologist who specializes in alopecia and he suggested cortisone injections but I HATE shots and needles (don't even have my ears pierced ) and my girl friend Georgia has it and made a documentary film about alopecia. She has regular cortisone treatment and it hurts her like hell... So much pain and so many tears for no guaranteed result.
I've been eating healthily for over 3 years now... I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, I exercise regularly, and I've been given an excellent bill of health in every physical I've ever had which is why the alopecia is so puzzling. Nobody else in my family has ever had it and they all have full, thick heads of hair... Which I used to, but not any more.
Do you have any recommendations for a healthy soup-based detox that I can do myself for much cheaper than a "system?"
The acupunturist suggested a colon cleanse to help my alopecia because "there may be toxins built up poisoning my body/hair - also, get silver fillings from your teeth removed because the mercury could also be causing the alopecia."
maybe you could ask the dermatologist for a sedative cocktail and make sure you have someone to drive you home after the procedure.I saw a dermotologist who specializes in alopecia and he suggested cortisone injections but I HATE shots and needles
it doesn't seem to be anything you're doing wrong. it may just be an idiopathic cause. give the cortisone injections a shot (get it?)I've been eating healthily for over 3 years now... try the recipe i linked in my post. that's the closest one to the one i did for myself years ago and it helped. however, again, it really doesn't seem to be a bowel issue... especially if you've had a healthy diet for about 3 years, it's just highly unlikely that your bowels need a detox or clense anyway. i mean, it won't hurt anything, but i doubt it'll help anything either.Do you have any recommendations for a healthy soup-based detox that I can do myself for much cheaper than a "system?"
respectfully, i've gotta say that that's just ridiculous. The acupunturist suggested a colon cleanse to help my alopecia because "there may be toxins built up poisoning my body/hair - also, get silver fillings from your teeth removed because the mercury could also be causing the alopecia."
Huh, wat? It's perfectly healthy go once a day, sometimes even less often, depending on what and how much you eat. Of course the people shilling laxatives will tell you there should be a constant stream of liquid shit trickling behind you wherever you go.
OP, just spend a few days straight eating nothing but prunes, spinach, broccoli, and apples. Guarantee it will do the same thing, and will be much cheaper.
How in the world does anything stick to the inside of your intestines?
first.I've got a cleanse for you, OP.
Detox danger: Trendy colon cleansing a risky ritual
Research found little benefit from detox concoctions or 'enemas on steroids'
I am very curious about alternative, Eastern-style herbs and medicines because I don't believe that Western medicine is the only solution.
