Both sides have crazies. Jane Elliott and Tim Wise don't do favors either, blaming whites for every wrong thing----and then get surprised when whites don't want to engage.

Look I rarely engage with you because you are mostly a goner. But you can't both sides this. The left of center group has a wackydoo loony part of the left, it's about 10% of the left, and they are loud as hell and the media loves to amplify them even more because it creates discord, but it's still 10% of the party.

Now if you look at the right of the center group - the fucking majority/base are all fucking crazy. Not 10% of the party, a majority of it. You don't just see it in the voters, you see it in their leaders and the way they govern.

This is very very obvious. The only person looking to both sides this shit now is a right winger trying to obfuscate reality.

It is pretty good IMNSHo. He makes the point that the the media is focused on identity politics. I guess there must be an identity “Let’s fix this shit” that we should unite on.
It is an excellent point but I would say that because I also see it as true.

We really should be past all this identity politics stuff as if it were a new phenomenon. Human self hate was made possible by the evolution of language and thought. As soon as people started putting each other down with words, as soon as we could internalize other people’s opinions of us we learned to identify our self as this wonderful supporter of this or that sacred entity. External identification is as old as self hate. Identity politics is a sub category of this ancient mental illness.

If the GOP is so bigoted, how the hell did Bobby Jindal become a congressman in David Duke's district, LA-01, white flight New Orleans suburbs?

Tell me how someone like Bobby Jindal can get elected in David Duke, David Vitter and Steve Scalise's white suburban district.

Thank you for destroying the point of your endless posts.
It's a serious question. A racist party would not allow the likes of Haley, Scott, Jindal, Donalds, Salazar, etc.
What attracts them to the GOP? How the hell did Jindal win David Duke and Scalise's district? Simple question.

The first thing that is wrong about your statement is that a racist party would not allow them. There isn't the slightest doubt at all that the Republican cult is the home of racists so the proper question becomes how does a racist party allow the likes of the people you listed. Have you any ideas there. I hate having to do all the heavy lifting.

Personally I think the divide started with Nixon and his direction of having the GOP court the dixiecrats. It used to be politicians frequently crossed party lines in their votes and a straight party line vote in the Senate or House was a rarity-totally someone straying from the party line in any vote is the rarity.

It has been accelerating and getting worse for decades but I would say we crossed the line with the rise of Newt Gingrich vs. Bill Clinton in the 90s. Blaming it on BLM is just plan stupid-do you contend we didn't have reactionary crackers until people started marching against murdering cops (and for once, ultimately convicted cops). The rise of Trump has certainly amped up the partisan delusion to the extent facts and reality are unimportant to a vast sector of the vote, who instead vote based upon identity and their feelings-what is good for the country or even themselves is not even considered.

A good deal of credit must be given the the 24/7 "news" channels which are mostly opinion and little real news.

Don’t you even bothsides the crazy racist bullshit. Name any prominent Democrat associating with anti-white groups.

Also you lie about blaming whites for everything. AFAWN - Whites aren’t responsible for Covid reaching our shores. However whites are responsible for it’s mismanagement once here.

You are really bad at spreading Russian misinformation. You are too obvious.

I’ll ask you in reverse. If Republicans are NOT racist how did they get caught racist gerrymandering disenfranchising blacks in violation of the voting rights act? (Court said that not me)?

If Republicans are NOT racist why do they continue to associate with and support racist and antisemitic groups??

Answer that

Because they see themselves defending their base---white voters, the GOP is the party of the Southern strategy racist strategy, obviously since 1964-5, whites in the South and the Midwest started voting GOP----they only want black voters to vote for them when needed....

How did he, exactly?
He will say…

When Obama said if he had a son he would look like Trayvon. Forgetting the fact that would have been true

Righties couldn’t handle the fact Trayvon had every right to be there and broke no laws.

In other words, the GOP is a racist party. At least you sort of admitted it.

"Defending white voters" at the expense of all the others.

'The GOP isn't a racist party'

'Also, the GOP orients its policy to help white voters because they view them as their base'

lol.

Righties couldn’t handle the fact Trayvon had every right to be there and broke no laws.
Democrats couldn't handle the fact that Zimmerman had every right to shoot and kill the attacker pinning him down and smashing his head into cement. "Broke no laws" is misplaced, and ultimately delusional.
Not about what Martin did or did not do before choosing to hang up his phone call, turn around and violently attack someone.

Obama interjecting for that was stupid. But wouldn't have meant anything... if the country was not so deeply polarized and incapable of agreeing on simple facts.
