Has anyone straightened their nasal septum by having a perforation?

I have a nasal septum perforation and I am about to have a nose straightening surgery. I read that these operations can make the perforation larger. Does anybody have any experience with this ? Did it happen to you ?Thanks

Have you talked to a doctor about fixing that? And what is wrong with your nose that you feel a need to have it straighten?

Yes, of course. He told me that it is almost impossible for the nasal septum to regenerate. Even more so if the perforation is large.
The bad thing is that it makes it difficult for me to breathe through one side of my nose.

I haven’t but was close to having one. Had quite a few surgeries but the cause was a bacterial infection in the end.

Yes they are a real shit.
Well, since I was a child, my jaw was very uneven. Then I began to have more problems in adolescence, added to bad food (the food pyramid, actually is the pyramid of the disease), artificial light, video games ... etc greatly aggravated my breathing and health (then appeared autoimmune disease).
