Has anyone used Register.com?

The stock seems to be undervalued based on financials.

Mkt Cap = $113.92M
Revenue = $106.92M
Cash = $ 84.95M
Debt = $ 0.00

Anyone have any thoughts about investing in this company?

Yes I have used them and have two domains through their service, but none after they expire. Register.com is way overpriced compared to their competitors and are riding on the .com burst of the 90's, luckily for them. (until the laymen realize how much register.com is overcharging them)

Their P/E ratios are WAY out of whack, that should be enough information for you right there.

I used them before but back in 1999 when I was renewing 3 domains for 3 years at a time and their price was better then my other host (the company verisign bought, networksolutions.com) and register.com offerred free transfer & a better price.

Based on my experience I'd never use them again. The price is highly inflated, and although my comparison isn't fair because it was 2002 when I last used them, the usability of godaddy.com and namecheap.com was much better IMO then register.com. So----I'd never go back to register.com unless they beat the prices of NAMECHEAP or GODADDY, and even then that's a big IF.

I used them waaaay back when they were reasonable. Now I use Joker.com.
