has anything been leaked on what the WoW expansion will be?

I havent played WoW in a while but im curious on what they may be adding.

has anything been leaked?

blizzcon is this week i think right?

Nothing official has leaked yet, only rumours. Most of the rumours have been pretty rediculous too. We have to wait until Saturday at Blizzcon to find out the scoop on the expansion.

One thing that is pretty likely, is that it will be called 'The Burning Crusade', as they registered that domain a few months ago.

The only part of what I've heard that I believe is Blood Elves will be a new race for Horde and Draenei for alliance + level cap raised to the 70-75 range.

Some of the speculation is pretty extreme, but I don't think that's Blizzard's style. My guess is it won't be too different aside from raising the cap, adding new high level areas and adding a couple races and maybe a class. The formula is working for them, they aren't going to make huge changes.

If they got rid of those stupid looking ears, I would have made an elf... Those ears are about as dumb looking as a gnome...

I think it would be cool to play as a Goblin... Not gonna happen, but it would be cool.

The leaked info from the italian magazine looks pretty legit. A brief rundown of that is - level cap to 70, new area 'the outlands', flying mounts for level 70 chars ( only usable in outlands ), new horde race of blood elves, alliance race still secret.

As a side note, blood elves actually have different ears to night elves - they are smaller and stick straight up instead of backwards. The guy that gives the attunement to the core quest outside of blackrock depths is a bloodelf.
