I haven't read through the entire thread, so I apologize if this has already been said, but I need some clarification on this statement. The only way the government gets money is by levying taxes. That's it. If you cut taxes, you cut the amount of money going into the government. How on Earth do you figure that cutting the only revenue source for government led to an increase in money rolling in?
If I were your boss, I'd cut your pay to increase the amount of money rolling into your checking account.

True story, I was in a grocery store with my girlfriend about 3 years ago. She is wearing a white T-Shirt upon which she has written, in giant letters, F**K BUSH (with the asterisks; that's not me censoring it). An elderly woman, probably about 85 years old, comes up to us, and starts talking, real quietly. My girlfriend bends over to hear what she's saying. The woman said, no lie, "That shirt makes you look like a SLUT!" And then she just walked off. Who does that in public? Then again, who wears a "Fuck Bush" shirt in public? I laughed for months about that, but my girlfriend was pissed.

The general markets are now less than they were 7.25 years ago when the Asshat took office. Deficits are at record levels and inflation is on the rise while the Federal Reserve is almost powerless to stop it because of pending possible recession and recessionary pressures (Stagflation anyone?).
