I think to be disqualified he would first have had been "convicted". Convicted in a courtroom and by a Jury. After all, there is an old saying INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN.
PS, indictment is not to be found guilty.
If state(s) try to disqualify Trump, and they will, the US Supreme Court will block that, and it will, when it reaches the hight court, which is inevitable. So as fun as all this may seem, I doubt it will happen. To imagine something so simple could end Trump's political ambitions.... well, I wouldn't count on it. But I will say to those state(s) who dare even try, nice try. Maybe move on to PLAN B. After all, considering Trump is so mob-like in his operation we can imagine what PLAN B might involve. It happens all the time, in their world.
