Hasn't all analog TV been shutdown?

I was flipping through the channels on a TV with a dual Digital/Analog tuner, and I flipped through one of the old analog stations with a crappy picture full of static. I thought to myself how thankful I was that we have DTV now, but then I realize I shouldn't be getting any broadcast analog signals should I?

I'm pretty sure some small, low power analogue stations were allowed to stay on air.

Along the same topic ; Local Digital TV signals...
I wonder what sort of havoc I'll find (create?) when I fire up my OLD school NADY wireless mics?
I have 6 channels worth, all on non-standard freqs(but all still within the standard Bandwidth) as per Neal Schon's request many many moon ago.

The ERP is not very high on a wireless mic. Feed it into a linear amp and run hardline to a 15+ dBi yagi and have fun.

Also yea not Canadian (NE Ohio but it's definitely of US origin).

Wikipedia:
United States, High-power over-the-air NTSC broadcasting was switched off on June 12, 2009 in favor of ATSC. Low-power stations, Class A stations and translators are not immediately affected, nor are remaining analog cable television systems. NTSC also remains in use as an interconnect standard for A/V devices such as televisions and DVD players.

Must be a "low-power" station.

You have to be THAT guy huh?

Let me rephrase:
I though all NTSC OTA broadcasts have been shut down.

While the majority of the viewers of over-the-air broadcasting in the USA watch full-power stations (which number about 1800), there are three other categories of TV stations in the US: low-power stations, Class A stations, and TV translator stations. There is presently no deadline for these stations, about 7100 in number, to convert to digital broadcasting.

It's a local station that I never got good reception on, so I'd buy that it falls into some low power category. The channel number is 62 if that has any correspondence to power.

I have Bell basic satellite (30$/mo), bought HD reciever (100$) ourselves on Boxing day for turning what we watch into HD, added my old external hd and enclosure to turn it into a PVR. works great

I also have OTA HD if I need it, cancelled cable once we got the satellite.
But cable still picks up all the channels I watched surprisingly, even TSN (OTA doesn't get TSN!)
