Prime95 doesn't always catch every error when overclocking, but I've always found it great for heating up the CPU.
I gave IntelBurnTest a try. Only ran it long enough for temps to stabilize. Seems to be about the same as Prime95.
Maybe I got lucky with a good CPU. Also the Phanteks PH-TC14PE cooler I'm using appears to be very good, as seen in willomz's post

Safety margins. If I know my CPU cooler can handle those tests, I know I will never run into temperature issues even on a hot day with a dusty case and very high CPU load.
