Haswell Xeon in Q3 2013 ?!

I know that most previsions placed the launch date for the server Haswell only next year, in 2014.

What do you guys think? Is this bogus? This could alter the Haswell-E launch dates also, making possible we have the new platform by Christmas time. However, considering the rumors about Ivy Bridge E, the lineup and release schedule don't make any sense anymore...

Mhh, is there a chance CPU World and Guru 3D got it all wrong and in fact this is about Ivy Bridge EP ? I mean, the v.2 designation doesn't make sense, it should be v.3 if talking about Haswell, with v2 being Ivy? Right?

sounds like Ivy to me. I'm guessing the person that posted it doesn't realize that server schedules are offset from the client roadmaps, so assumed they would be haswell since that's what's coming to client.

Only Socket LGA1150 Xeons in 2013. The LGA2xxx ones are 2014. Ivy Bridge is v2.

Those 15 cores are aldo Ivy Bridge EX die.

That site really messed up.

This is IVB-EX not Haswell. They are wrong.

They say XEON Haswell can do up to 15 cores. However release time their going to lock 3 cores.. so you have a xeon 10 and 12 cores. Just like they locked Sandy E these so called 15 core chips will not come out for a while. but they say it anyways. Xeon Haswell will be 8 to 12 cores. remember you have 3 cores locked.....
