Shrug, it's a crime whatever way you look at it, and 'others are doing worse' is not a good reason which makes this less sad. There are dumb racists among all social, religious and racial groups. Extremist Jews, extremist Muslims, Republicans, all are as bad.



Many people are whining about how evil Muslims are, but all groups contain evil people, and those are the ones triggering fights and keeping them alive. Do you think this man or his family will suddenly like Jews more now? If they did not hate them yet they will now.

Man you apologists are pathetic. Yes, this was a religious fueled hate crime (obviously, are you guys morons?), yes it was one incident but I'm not sure how that makes it OK. And yes, it's wrong to try and paint every Jew as some violent fanatic just because a few idiot Jews did something...just as it's wrong to paint ever MUSLIM as a violent fanatic when some idiot Muslims do something wrong.

It is hard for a real American to cry a tear for any Muslim. For all we know this guy was a terrorist recruitor.

Also we do not know what exactly happened. It is quite possible this all started from some remark the Muslim man said. It is quite possible that the muslim was spouting off about killing americans or death to the Jews, or wiping out Isreal, then they just let him have it. I like to wait and see what the real story is before I pass judgement.
