Periodic CTRL+S CTRL+S CTRL+S!!

Lesson learned!

I get so paranoid over some of the documents I create that I end up saving the files in multiple locations (including different physical drives)

LOL, I do too becuase I have had to many drives fail on me in the past so I no longer trust any HD. Important stuff is double backed up on Recordable DVD+R's.

Lesson learned I hope? You can never save too often or in too many places. Whenever I'm working on something important I save it in three places: 1st HDD, 2nd HDD and a Flash Drive.

No one has recommended file recovery software, but it's worth a try. Try GetDataBack. You can get a trial version. Though if you never saved it to start with, I'm not sure what filename you'd be looking for.
