yeah yeah blah blah about the rude comments. first of all ANANDTECH doesnt support the misuse of pricing errors from my understanding. So take that into consideration. I spent about 4 hours online looking at MD players b4 i found this error on my own. So i feel a little pissed when someone comes on here and blows up the board with it. whatevr though.. im relieved and i hope some others get in

Well, I ordered it about 30min before it showed up on AT, and my deal was cancelled too -- so even if you watched AT, your order would've been cancelled no matter how quick you were, which is sort of CoolTechie's problem: AT ruins certain deals merely because it is AT.

He did it so that he could actually get the deal before the AT effect rolled in. I'm sure you'd do the same too if you knew that it wouldn't work once thousands of people found out about it and started to hammer bestbuy.com, which in turn let's them know that something is up then killing the deal.
