It's probably a bug on or in the dome of the camera bubble, thus the camera can't focus on it since it is to close.

how its it that you can have several recording devices in a room and ask a question and only 1 of them picks up an answer and its a child or female and there are no children or women in the room....

I've looked at the EVP sites. clear examples seem to be anecdotal. The only ones that are available (at least for download) are VERY sketchy. Like they ran it through filters or it has to be a 'trained' ear. Very convenient. If you can link to one that even claims to be real yes clear I'd be surprised, but then we've got the problem of proper controls to the experiment.

It doesn't cast a shadow on the floor. It blurs the pixels on the CCD to make it LOOK like there's a shadow on the floor.

Citrix, notice how conveniently these things never happen in a controlled environment where a test can be reproduced, it always happens to some cook using pseudo-science investigating something.

I'd really like to believe that there is more out there than what we can immediately detect with the 5 basic senses, but PokerGuy has a point - it's really difficult to make a case for the existence of ghosts, aliens, etc. when the only footage of them is always blurry, grainy, and not reproducible.
