how its it that you can have several recording devices in a room and ask a question and only 1 of them picks up an answer and its a child or female and there are no children or women in the room....

I've looked at the EVP sites. clear examples seem to be anecdotal. The only ones that are available (at least for download) are VERY sketchy. Like they ran it through filters or it has to be a 'trained' ear. Very convenient. If you can link to one that even claims to be real yes clear I'd be surprised, but then we've got the problem of proper controls to the experiment.
