What makes you think this (HAUPPAUGE 32552 AMITY (OEM) COMPATIBLE W/ MCE HARMONY) is the same as a PVR 250 MCE?

It doesn't look like a 250 either. Notice how it only has one coax input. For both TV and FM, it needs two. Cheap card, cheap price... not a 250.

No. That's a WinTV PVR250. It looks like the older style, the kind that came with a small black remote. I've owned both models of the PVR250. In any case, I don't think that picture is accurate for the model with a FM tuner. cnetpc.com has the same model for the same price.

http://www.poptix.net/ivtv/current/msg00283.html is what this card seems to be, a real OEM PVR250 (hardware MPEG-2) with an FM tuner. It seems to be different than the PVR250MCE listed on Hauppauge's site.

Good deal if you already have an MCE or similar remote.

also the website states that Pictures are only illustrations of the products and not to be conceived as precise representations. and the person I got this from ordered four of them and confirmed they are the 250's,

I bought 4, they are the real deal.

Just a warning if you order from here. I just bought one card, but somehow two cards ended up on my order and I was charged for them both. Not a big deal since I can probably sell the second for more than ZBuy is charging, but some people may care.

I bought at Zbuy several time before and I found them to be pretty decent.

Not having to RMA any thing, I cannot comment on that.

Just bought one, hope it is a PVR250MCE.

Is the MCE version the 'new' version without the heatsink?

Lastly, I didn't see on their website what shipping was going to cost, nor did it show up on my checkout/final screen. For those that did get it, what were you charged for shipping?

I think this is an OEM WinTV Go FM, which according to www.pricewatch.com, makes $70 an average price.

I got a ShuttleXPC from z-buy.com for $20+ cheaper than anywhere else, OK company, damn fast shippers.

The PVR-250 (retail) I own, is a very nice card - get rid of all those VHS tapes and put them on DVD-R.

Answering my own question here: Shipping is FREE!
(Quick response by Z-Buy to my question). Now I just hope it is at least a PVR250 and better yet a PVR250MCE!
