LMAO, it is fun to watch the exposed try to cover up their bullshit.

Yup.

For the most part (other than their irrelevance), all the Tea P's have in common with each other is their rage, hypocrisy and ignorance.

Surely, a Political Farce to be reckoned with

Are these Libertarians? Libertarians co-opted by FreedomWorks? Remnants of the Reform Party? GOP/RNC-infected Grover Norquist wannabees? Miniature Paul-Bots?

""Our slogan: Pander to Rage, Hypocrisy & Ignorance!""

Among a gazillion other things - LOL

Guidelines are different than telling someone what to eat.

It used to be that the government only made the really important decisions about everyone's lives (which is STILL wrong), but you always had the choices that are nominal like where you want to work, how much money you will make, where you want to live, etc.

Now, people are starting to get pissed because you have some retard in Washington overreaching because of severe control issues.

I agree with their sentiments, to be honest. Not every tea party member has that in mind, of course, but they are far closer than any other power-hungry crapbag party wanting to invade every facet of everyone's lives to impose their beliefs as law.

Paranoia is gonna destroy yah.

Looks to me like the 'retards in Washington' are playing the hand that was dealt to them. I can see how this concept is difficult for you to grasp.

And I don't agree, support or condone whatever foolishness that has drawn you to conclude that the "Big Bad Gub'mint" wants to run your life.

I would prefer a bit more moderation but recognize the extraordinary times we live in. Example: The Patriot Act.

Throw out a third of it and the rest is viable. Of course, that will never happen in the current environment because the reactionaries will label proponents as "Weak On Terra!"

The same analogy persists everywhere. No dialogue, statesmanship or compromise. Just attack, block, blame and obfuscate.

It's the level of their hypocrisy that the TP'ers cannot grasp --- and it's also across the board.

Fiscal Conservatism?
Immigration?
Social Security & Medicare?

The list goes on ...

Really? With government dictating how much you can get paid, what you eat (if they have their way), where your retirement funds will come from, what kind of car you drive, and what kind of insurance you will buy (eventually from a non-competitive source), you think thats just fine because of "the extraordinary times we live in".

There are places for people who want to be told what to do and be nannied from cradle to grave. Move there. Let the people who enjoy the freedom/capitalism and don't mind working for it be happy instead of being to lazy to apply for citizenship elsewhere and riding the coattails of a country because they have great opportunity.

Not sure I'd characterize most of them as racists, but easily brainwashed, absolutely.

Yeah, I remember a single tea partier saying they want government regulation of social security, medicare, and wall street.

OH WAIT NO I HAVENT, EVER.

Go back to finding up ways to call the constitution outdated. I think the "racist" thing is losing steam, but only because people stopped listening. You just gotta get more ridiculous about it.

Tea Partiers:
Hypocrites:
Where were they during the Bush and Reagan years?
Do they really want smaller government or smaller government for other people?

Ignorant of macroeconomics: anyone who wants to reduce federal spending during an economic crisis really needs to read some books.

Ignorant in general: Yelling about their taxes when tax rates went down.

O v e r - reach, much?

How'd that laissez-faire oversight and regulation work for you in the 00's?

I think you are a simpleton who wants the big, bad gub'mint to only work for what you want. Sorry, Chump, it ain't all about you. And your comments are a perfect example of what happens when a person reasonably tries to engage you in conversation.

Jack-Ass Platitudes and Rage may 'energize' 4% of the USA but will forever remain outside the mainstream of America. Get over it.

We get it. YOU WANT GUB'MINT OUT OF YOUR LIVES but want your social security, medicare, unemployment insurance, War on Terra, Part D Drugs, Tax Cuts, border security, Big Bank & Wall Street reform, ICE raids, missile defense, marriage laws, clean air and water, tougher abortion regulations, disaster relief, environmental clean-up, ad nauseum ...

Tea Partiers:
Hypocrites:
Where were they during the Bush and Reagan years?
During the Reagan years, rejoicing over lower tax rates and the economic boom they caused, frustrated over congressional Democrats reneging on their deal to cut spending.

During the Bush years, happy over deep cuts in tax rates on economic rocket full, aka dividends and capital gains, frustrated over phony stimulus rebate checks, and furious over massive new entitlements and "compassionate conservative" spending.

During both eras, mindful that the Democrat alternatives would be far, far, worse for the economy.

Do they really want smaller government or smaller government for other people?
Smaller government. What makes you think they want it only for themselves?

Ignorant of macroeconomics: anyone who wants to reduce federal spending during an economic crisis really needs to read some books.
Anyone who thinks failed Keynesian stimulus models are the only way to deal with recessions needs to read some books outside of liberal econ 101 texts. Laffer, Freidman, Shumpeter, Hayek, Von Mises.

Ignorant in general: Yelling about their taxes when tax rates went down.
Not ignorant of the largest tax rate increases in American history that kick in January 1, 2011. Also not ignorant of the massive value added tax Obama will introduce after he is re-elected.
