Looks like you over-paid for your 280, but now you get to redeem yourself with the 295.

Considering I bought it for $296 after rebate and MS Cashback, I wouldn't say I over-paid. I waited until the time was perfect.

I just paid for my step-up, so it shouldn't be too much longer until I get to put it through the paces. Although I could have had it quicker, but was too cheap to expedite the shipping.

Wow! A GTX295 for $370. Way to beat the system

I get confused on these boards sometimes. I could do a search and easily pull up 10 threads form the last year where the overwhelming majority of posters in this forum would recomend against a dual card solution, as compared to the best available single card solution, because of microstutter and scaling issues with the dual card. But in this thread everybody is recommending the GTX 295. Why? I don't get it?

In this case, even if the 295 doesn't scale he'll basically have the same performance of his 280. I think the micro stutter thing got a little blown out of proportion as well (I've never used SLI/Xfire so I don't know, it's just a feeling)...

My 295 I got 3 months ago has been my first multigpu card. I game a lot, and have not noticed microstutter, despite looking for it in crysis.

Me either on my GTX295. I can't see it so I'm going to call it a non-issue.
