Have I been gaming too much?

I dropped my Jeep off at the mechanic and started walking home, but after a few steps I had a tremendous urge to run, because "walk mode" was way too slow. So I ran home. Halfway, I tried walking, but I couldn't overcome the urge to run. It felt like I was in a game, holding shift to walk, and feeling slow.

This is even though I tremendously cut down WoW playing to a couple hours a week due to boredom .

Anyone have similar stories?

I remember reading a guy's story about how he would psychologically "/con" people, like in Everquest, to see if he could defeat them in battle.

Well I also have the urge to run whenever I have to walk somewhere, but its not really because of games... its just that to me the time it takes to go from place A to place B could be spent better doing something else, so the more time I save the better

I used to run because it felt like a waste of time just walking home.

I don't think it's necessarily related to gaming. But for the record, quit WoW completely.

I'm the only one in my circle that ever played WoW so I've used terms they didn't quite catch onto before.. ..

Few weekends ago I told somone to watch my beer and don't let anyone ninja me.

About a month or so ago my buddy asked me if he should talk to this girl so I told him to just walk up and tell her that he has epics.. .. made me laugh but he didn't understand.

It was after playing GTA3 for a while the night before, I was heading to work and saw some people crossing the street. I though I might just run them over for the the fun of it. Common sense then took over. Was weird because I had never thought anything like that before or since that time.

I have two experiences like this.

When GTA 3 came out, I played it a ton, school night or not (I was in high school when it came out). I was stopped outside my school one day, waiting to pick up someone. Someone else drove up and got out of their car, leaving it parked there. I had 2 feet on the ground and almost had the door closed before I remembered I couldn't just go take the car.

Around that same time, there was an intersection I was coming up to. We had a red, no one was coming from the crossing direction. So I naturally got in the lane of opposite traffic and blew around the cars stopped at the red.

I cut down some after these, but not that much. I just handled it better. This, though, is how I knew GTA was an amazing game. No other game actually modified my everyday behavior like it did, even for a short time.

Well... I run a lot, but I don't hold down a button when I do it.

BUT, I do find that I look like solid snake when I'm running down stairs.

I think that takes the cake.

I doubt he had enough stamina to continue bunny hopping for more than 5 to 10 seconds

Do you hit a mental space bar to jump too?

<Edit> was beaten to it.

How about this, do you wish you were lvl 40/60/70 to get a mount/epic mount/epic flying mount?

Only a problem once you start eating all of the mushrooms on the neighbor's lawn to make yourself faster.
