agree edmunds is quite good to give you an idea of what your dealing with price wise. option it out it will tell you invoice, any cash back deals or other deals and what people typically pay. but my guess it looking at it not too many incentives going your looking at 41ish maybe 40500 if you get a good deal. didn't see the option for nav and camera so assumed its standard with the performance package.
I know the cady has status and is very sharp but have you looked into just getting a LTZ equinox? loaded to the gills with AWD they can be had in the 33-34 range. same platform as the cady and basically everything it has the equinox has and looks quite simlar
Not a bad vehicle but man I think they messed up the styling. Looks way too forward as if it's permanently got a giant invisible anvil on the front pushing it down.

I know... Not my call
I intervened with one of my ex wives car purchase once and never heard the end of it, life is too short to do that again
Considered looking for a new / very lightly used '09 or just waiting for '11's to come out?
You could save a lot of money on an '09, still have your warranty and such.
Just a thought.
2009 srx = a waggon sts
in other words while not that horrible looks for what it is. its a completly different car
haha yeah hear yah there. cady is a good little crossover though, and it does have some mods to the theta platform (its really "theta premium") that are nice for a more sporty ride. its really a shame the vue isn't around I loved the look of that car and would act as an inbetween for the srx and equinox. but yeah hit up edmonds, its kinda a wierd time to be buying a car, GM isn't discounting to heavily atm (they have cut production so much that there popular cars are barely staying on dealer lots). I was looking at malibus myself and they were not marking them down at all. then I drove my fusion and forgot all about the malibus anyway.....damn ford hit it with sync what a way to get the nerdy gadget loving crowd lol.

I was surprised how GM doesnt have product to sell, the salesmen were pissed off about it, they said its crazy trying to get any products, much less the popular vehicles.
Yeah, its a different vehicle and falls outside the criteria she wants, she doesnt want a 3rd row of seating SUV.
GF is in a funny place, shes been renting a car for a year, and needs to do something, shes makes some decent $, and wants to buy a compact domestic upscale SUV with an old school luxury brand, so its really the MKX versus the SRX.
She doesnt like the MKX, and loves the power of the SRX. I cant even get her to look at BMWs, Hondas, Acura, Lexus, etc...
Hmmmmmmmmmmm...brand new model that they're having trouble keeping in stock...and you think you're going to get a sweet deal?
You can probably knock a couple grand off the MSRP but a lot of that will have to do with how well it's selling in your area. I'm guessing you'll pay between $40K and $41K plus TTL.

Loves the power of the SRX? What power?
Shes driving a Dodge Journey right now, mushy suspension, numb steering, slower revving engine.
