I have the 3930k with the Gigabyte UD5 X79. I got both when it was first launched about 1.5 years ago. Lately the UD5 has been acting up (USB, ethernet drivers dying and recovering, and RAM slots that no longer work) and I have tried reinstalling the drivers/BIOs and calling tech support and with no luck fixing it. Instead of the back and forth I would rather just shell out some cash for a new board.
I am looking into some asus boards and was wondering which one would the people on this would reccomend. To shed some more light I currently have an AMD 5870 and potentailly would go the SLI route since I just got a new 30 inch monitor.
