Have you drank till you blacked out?

It happens occasionally when the wife and I drink at home.

Once the vodka starts flowing, it's easy to get to a point where you don't remember going to bed.

The fun comes in piecing the events of the night together from the evidence left over.

No, I'm not really a big drinker but my rule is to not get drunk. I don't really wait for any specific signs to tell me to stop, I just don't drink fast so the pace I'm going at would probably take a very long time before I get drunk. When I feel that I probably had enough I start to switch to water or pop. Closest I've gotten to getting drunk is when I had 3+ glasses of wine in a couple hours. Lost track after 3 since I was just topping it up as I go. Walking was starting to feel funny, like I was about to fall, but yet, was not falling, and doing stairs fine. Probably very border line there.

I never slept so well in my life, and even the morning I felt like a million bucks, and the moment felt so magical. I need to drink before bed more often. I usually dread getting up in the morning.

Funny thing is, this was a family vacation, so if I did get drunk it would have been pretty awkward.

I've dranked until my breath made those around me black out. It's not the best plan though. I can't recommend it.

I have learned that if I haven't eaten all day and I drink a six pack I will have no memory, even if I drink over several hours. Six pack is not enough to make me puke or even give me much of a hangover.

It's very disorienting and unpleasant though. I expect (hope?) I'm old and wise enough to never do that again.

In my youth I had some blackouts the traditional way,after drinking far too much.

Yes, mostly during college and never by design. Only had a true blackout a couple times, others I would be fatigued enough to just pass out. I don't like when it happens, but blackouts don't always mean throwing up.

I haven thrown up from drinking too much in a very very long time. Have had more than a few blackouts since then.

It's not so bad when it's just two of us at home. But yeah... it can be a bit disturbing.

Once when I was 19. Got into a quarters game and after about an hour we decided to start using Jack Daniels instead of beer. That didn't end well for anyone involved. That was the last time I even got close.

Same, and I was in the Army where we'd get smashed nearly every night. Then when I got back and was in a frat, we'd drink even more than that.

I think blacking out and forgetting is just bullshit to use as an excuse in court, or to explain to your girlfriend that you didn't remember sleeping with some other girl.

No. Never been a big drinker. Closest I ever came was once or twice in college where portions of the night were blurry and I didn't remember until someone reminded me what happened.
