Was arrested and released on signature bond for underage drinking when I was 19yo. Paid a fine and did a few hours of community service.

Arrested for felony posession and distribution of THC when I was 18. $500 bail.
A bunch of friends and I in a 3-car caravan got stopped driving out of a park after closing hours.
Everyone stashed their herb under the seats as we saw the cop pull out behind us, and I ended up (willfully) taking ownership of ALL of it when they searched my vehicle. Pretrial, the DA dropped it to misdemeanor possession. Fines and community service, required AODA and 6mo lic. suspension. Only spent that first night that I was arrested in county.

Arrested again for possession of THC at 21. $1500 bail + signature bond.
Pulled over for speeding on NYE, heading between cities to meet friends for the new year.
Had a wooden dug-out with a one-hitter in my center console in my car (had no idea it was there, never found out after the fact who had left it there). Cops scraped the one-hitter and got .03 grams (three-hundredths, yeah not a typo) of matter field-tested positive for THC. TBH idk how they weighed it, especially on the roadside.
Felony charge because it was second offense. For .03 grams.
Was about to go to trial and the prosecuting attorney offered to drop the felony if I served 20 days in county and 2 years probation (and of course $3K in fines and more community service, AODA, lic. suspension for 6 months). It was worth taking the sentence to not risk the felony if I went to trial.
The key to that offer was that there was no longer any evidence for the DA to present other than officer testimony, it was all consumed in the field test.
Also, I had expressly refused permission to search my vehicle when the officer asked, and I'm pretty sure they had that recorded from his dashcam. He threatened to hold me there and bring a K-9 unit if I didn't cooperate. I didn't think I had anything to worry about and was in a hurry to reach my destination, being that it was 11:15PM on NYE, so I relented to the search and asked him to hurry. When he backed out of my car, holding the dugout and asking, "What's this?", my heart just sank.
Being pulled over for speeding was not a justifiable reason for vehicle search without other circumstances present (like smell of cannabis, obvious intoxication, etc), so I believe the intimidation by the officer hurt the DA's case there.
Our state laws on THC have not loosened or changed for the better since then, and yet I've known people with 5 to 6+ DUI convictions that still have their license, never served more than 10 days, etc. That's WI for ya.
I've gotten a fine for biking on the pavement.
I got several verbal warnings/scoldings for riding on sidewalks, but never fined for it. However...I was chased through parts of a university campus by police numerous times and never caught/stopped.
Working in bike shops, I knew or met others who had gotten 'pulled over' on their bikes and ticketed for speeding. That was kind of a laughable one that generated "congrats" among the cyclist's crowd, lol.
